Civil Defence Corps, Delhi APK for Android

A free program for Android, by Directorate of Civil Defence.

The Civil Defence Corporation, Delhi was established by the government of Delhi with the objective of providing emergency disaster relief, fire protection, rescue, and first aid to the public in the event of a disaster.

The initial plan was to establish a local volunteer Fire Department, to which citizens would donate fire-fighting equipment, and to train staff in the use of the equipment. In the event of a disaster, the volunteers would go to the affected area and help the victims.

As the department grew, it became a part of the emergency management system. In addition to providing first aid and assistance, the department is responsible for monitoring the disaster area and for determining the cause of the disaster. It is also responsible for organizing rescue services, for which the department receives funding from the government of Delhi.

The app is an initiative of the Directorate of Civil Defence, New Delhi to promote awareness about the department and to help the public in case of a disaster.
